Okay the main thing I need to know before I start going off about fic plotbunnies like I might or might not have done on Tumblr is, does this thing have a tag blacklisting system so my friends can shush my jabbering about things they’re not into. I don’t know how it works. Halp.

...And moreover is there any kind of reblog mechanic, for I am a meme-loving fuck.

sadly there are neither reblogs nor tag blacklisting BUT u can hide Lots O' Stuff with a cut tag and, like im doing with my current liveblog, you can talk a LOT in comments without cluttering up people's reading pages

hrmn that’s not Terribly handy for the simple like. skipping posts on a fandom I don’t care for, as opposed to content warnings which I assume people would put under a cut. on the other hand, I did a cursory search and it looks like now that there’s sort of a huge influx of people with different site needs, they’re considering bumping blacklisting up the priorities list. reblogs less so, because it’s difficult to get a good privacy model with those, which is fair.

mopes about wanting to get my meme on without having to join a bunch of communities though etc. i’m too old for this shit, just want to keep mostly to the Same Twelve People while occasionally flinging jokes and pictures out into the void, not really down for Joining A Fandom As Such
